Simon Fraser U celebrates landmark campaign results. To cap its 50th-anniversary celebration, Simon Fraser University announced on September 21, 2016 that it raised a record-breaking $275 million through the SFU Power of Engagement fundraising campaign, well surpassing its $250 million goal. University Affairs explores the academic, cultural and communications aspects of the growing wave of indigenization across Canada’s PSE campuses. Several of the quoted experts (Blaine Favel, Chancellor of University of Saskatchewan; Vianne Timmons, University of Regina President; and University of Saskatchewan President, Peter Stoicheff) participated in the 2016 CCAE National Conference in Saskatoon. The article provides a clear review of “the Canadian advantage” in tax credits that can be incentives to charitable donations - excellent info for all Canadian fundraisers. Branding through live, documentary-style interaction. Jay Baer blogs on Medium about the need to transition branding stories from fiction to fact, especially in speaking to Millennials (and younger) - and the importance of using live media to make the switch authentic.
