CCAE Professional Development:
What could you learn?

CCAE’s PD workshops and Summits tap into the latest learning and expertise to help you galvanize your advancement shop for best results.

Among many other topics, participants at the CCAE Annual Giving Congress (sponsored by iA Financial Group) in October 2016 explored:

  • Use of data to overcome common challenges such as donor retention, re-acquisition, and migration
  • Harnessing data to enhance annual giving stewardship efforts
  • Maximizing the impact of giving days
  • Engaging major and leadership donors through personalized interactions and deeper conversations
  • Sentimental / emotional appeals versus stats-based appeals

Attendees at CCAE’s first ever Workshop on Francophone Giving Culture in December 2016 learned about:

  • Historic and current differences in Quebec financial and charitable trends
  • Views of education as a government-supported right rather than a cause
  • How to develop greater institutional agility to respond to changing donor attitudes and evolving definitions of philanthropy
  • The shrinking philanthropic base: fewer donors giving larger amounts
  • Philanthropic psychology, including the new, “anti-establishment” donor

Transform your own knowledge level, network and discuss with colleagues, and prepare to return to your advancement shop with results-generating strategies from these upcoming CCAE events:
