2017 CCAE Distinguished Service Awards

Application Deadline: March 3, 2017

Help CCAE celebrate the Canadian advancement profession’s generous builders and top achievers. Nominate a worthy recipient for CCAE 2017 Distinguished Service Awards.

The Friend of Education Award, supported by The Offord Group, celebrates champions and visionaries who elevate education. The Outstanding Achievement Award, supported by Manulife Financial, recognizes those who have helped professionalize advancement over the years. The Rising Star Awards tip a hat to emerging advancement careers of great promise. 

All recipients will be honoured during CCAE Awards Night on June 7 at the 2017 CCAE National Conference in Hamilton, Ontario.

CCAE supports PD with 3 CCAE Scholarships

CCAE offers three scholarships for advancement professionals who work at CCAE member institutions in Ontario:

  • The Paul Webb Scholarship
  • The CCAE Ontario Regional Chapter Scholarship, and
  • The Richard Lim Professional Development Scholarship. 

The application deadline for all three scholarships is Friday, April 7, 2017. For details and application forms, visit the CCAE website.

CCAE member news

Fanshawe College’s engineering students will have access to the same sophisticated product lifecycle management software used by businesses thanks to a gift of $248 million worth of Siemens PLM software by Siemens Canada.

The global industrial technology company is providing software that includes NX for computer-aided design, manufacturing and engineering. Siemens’ product lifecycle management software is used by many industries including automotive, aerospace, machinery, medical devices, shipbuilding and electronics. The software will be used for student course work, research and other academic studies.
