Fanshawe College’s engineering students will have access to the same sophisticated product lifecycle management software used by businesses thanks to a gift of $248 million worth of Siemens PLM software by Siemens Canada. The global industrial technology company is providing software that includes NX for computer-aided design, manufacturing and engineering. Siemens’ product lifecycle management software is used by many industries including automotive, aerospace, machinery, medical devices, shipbuilding and electronics. The software will be used for student course work, research and other academic studies. |
