Laval University far surpasses campaign goalLaval University and its Foundation have far surpassed the initial $350 million goal of Laval’s 7th capital campaign, raising $530 million, including $23.3M in planned gifts. This result is the greatest philanthropic achievement in the university’s history. Over half a billion dollars will be reinvested in the fundamental research and teaching missions of Laval University. Alumni donations to this campaign tripled over previous campaigns. The business community, alumni and local community, and a strong leadership cabinet, led an unprecedented mobilization that testifies to the emergence of a philanthropic culture in Quebec and Canada. |
