Do National Conference attendees need to be vaccinated to attend in-person events?

CCAE prioritizes the health, safety, and social well-being of all attendees and staff, and continues to monitor guidance from Public Health, within the host city of Niagara Falls, provincially and nationally, for regulations and guidelines. CCAE will require proof of vaccination for all attendees of the National Conference during the onsite registration process. All attendees speakers, attendees, & sponsors of the National Conference will be asked to provide proof of vaccination during the onsite registration process. Please review local & provincial guidelines for further information. If you are attending the Conference from outside the province of Ontario you must follow all federal guidelines outlined here. Should I wear a mask during the National Conference?

CCAE will require all speakers, attendees, & sponsors to wear masks with the exception of meal and refreshment breaks, and for speakers when presenting.

What is CCAE’s National Conference Cancellation Policy?

Can a conference registration be split amongst colleagues?

No, all registrations are individual purchases and cannot be shared. Review CCAE’s Cancellation Policy at the bottom of the registration page here

What should I do if I become sick before or during the National Conference?

No in-person attendee may attend the 2022 CCAE National Conference if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, if they have an active case of COVID-19 at the time of the National Conference, or if they have been directed to self-isolate by a Public Health Authority. Should an attendee experience symptoms of COVID-19 during the 2022 CCAE National Conference, they will be required to cease attendance at the scheduled events immediately and are asked to notify CCAE personnel. No refunds or transfers will be accepted should this occur. CCAE will work with the individual to ensure they are safely provided medical attention if necessary and assistance with contacting their emergency contact. Read CCAE’s COVID 19 policy here.

I can’t attend the in-person Conference, are there any virtual sessions for the National Conference?

Yes, CCAE has a virtual registration package for the National Conference. Details can be found here. The virtual package includes 3 virtual sessions via zoom, as well as 5 live stream sessions and the 2 keynote presentations. All virtual sessions will be made available as recordings following the National Conference should you miss the session date.

Is there a National Conference App?

No, CCAE is not utilizing a Conference app. The CCAE website has all event, session and schedule information. Signs will be in place at the venue to assist as well as CCAE’s friendly staff.

How do I know what sessions to attend at the National Conference?

Session location and schedule information is found on the CCAE website. There is no pre-selection of sessions this year, you can attend whichever sessions suit you best dependent on room capacity.

Are there any hotel or travel discounts I can use for the National Conference?

Yes, CCAE has secured hotel and travel discounts for attendees. Full details on the discounts and use can be found here.

What meals are provided throughout the National Conference?

Full package conference registrants will receive all breakfasts, lunches, and refreshment breaks as well as special event specific meals. Single Day registrants will receive breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks on their selected day.
