Educational Advancement

Since 1993, The Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE) embodies the voice of the Canadian advancement landscape, by connecting over 120-member schools to the pinnacle of advancement resources.

CCAE is a volunteer-led organization that promotes excellence in educational advancement. We provide opportunities for networking, professional learning and mutual support.

Members benefit directly through outstanding programming, resources, and value-added external stakeholders.

These opportunities are facilitated by esteemed peers and industry experts, who range in background by a multitude of school representations and disciplines, furthering this uniquely Canadian advancement niche.

2017 CCAE Canadian Annual Giving Congress Awards

Three awards are available, upon application, for the 2017 CCAE Annual Giving Congress. Each award requires the following supporting documentation:

  1. a cover letter, stating the reason and qualifications for applying; and
  2. a letter of support from the applicant’s supervisor.

Deadline for 2017 CCAE AGC Awards applications: Friday, October 6, 2017. Please send documents (PDF or Word) as e-mail attachments to Tara Sandler: sandler@ccaecanada.org

New Professional Award
To be awarded to a professional with less than 2 years of experience in the field of higher education alumni relations and/or development. Value: $199 (to be applied to registration cost).

Travel Award
To be awarded to a professional who must travel more than 250 km to Toronto to attend the congress. Value: $450 ($199 to be applied to registration cost, $251 to be given as a cheque to cover travel expenses).

First-Time Attendee Award
To be awarded to a professional who has not attended the Congress ever, or at least since 2013. Value: $199 (to be applied to registration cost).
