Colleges and universities are not immune to The Great Resignation, with one startling and troubling difference: across campuses, colleagues are leaving their jobs and moving into professions outside of higher education. As our teammates consider turning to work in the private sector, joining a consultancy, or hanging up their own shingle, what can leaders do to stop this hemorrhage of talent? What we do know: 2019 thinking won’t work in 2022.
