Enrolment of Indigenous students at Saskatchewan Polytechnic has increased 31% since 2011-12. Indigenous students currently represent 19% of the student population. Sask Polytech actively works to recruit and retain Indigenous students, help them feel welcome at all campus locations and integrate Indigenous ways of learning into campus life and programming.
This session is ideal for communications and marketing professionals who work at an institution with a growing Indigenous population or other growing visible minority population. It is also suited to communications and marketing professionals interested in reaching new audiences.
