Gain ideas and tips that can be applied to your own college, university or school student-leadership / community linkages.

Heather Allaby, Community and Government Relations Advisor, NBCC
Prior to coming to NBCC, Heather spent over 15 years working in the public and non-profit sectors. As NBCC’s Community and Government Relations Advisor, she oversees the College’s media, public and government relations activities, its community engagement investments and the NBCC Robertson Institute for Community Leadership. She feels privileged to work on a College-wide initiative that supports students in developing their leadership skills while fulfilling NBCC’s vision of transforming lives and communities.

Tom Meadus, Director of Advancement, NBCC
Tom joined NBCC in 2010 after 15 years in the private sector. In 2012, he was assigned the task of building NBCC’s first-ever Advancement Best Community Outreach Initiative Robertson Institute for Community Leadership Launch
