The Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE) is a volunteer-led organization that promotes excellence in educational advancement. We provide opportunities for networking, professional development and mutual support. CCAE members represent universities, colleges, polytechnics, institutes, independent schools and cégeps from across the country.
Advancement encompasses alumni relations, communications and marketing, fundraising (development), external relations, and public relations.
CCAE offers professional development programs covering the latest trends and techniques in advancement, designed to meet the needs of our 4,400 members at 132 Canadian educational institutions.
CCAE’s Award and Fellowship programs celebrate the best advancement work in Canada; provide prestigious TD Fellowships in Advancement help build the future of our profession; recognize promising new advancement talent; and applaud those whose achievements and dedication exemplify support for advancement and for Canadian education.
